Quando la missione dell’Architetto è quella di rendere “divertente” una casa, nascono progetti creativi ed unici che fanno sorridere anche gli adulti più seriosi.
E’ il caso del progetto per la Yamashina House a Kyoto in Giappone, si tratta di un progetto di ricostruzione per una zona residenziale allineata con case di epoca antica. Il progetto si trova in una zona a basso tenore di 100 mq circa e su un terreno stretto con restrizioni e limitazioni stabilite dalla legge sul paesaggio. In tali circostanze, lo studio di architettura è riuscito a sviluppare una casa con un senso dello spazio notevole, garantendo nel contempo il numero di camere richieste.
Sono tre scatole di volumi diversi dai quali sono stati poi creati gli spazi successivamente, come prodotti dai loro stessi angoli. E’ stato “greenizzato” lo spazio in modo da rendere possibile un senso di esterno da qualsiasi stanza, ciò è stato possibile eliminando l’idea di un edificio unico dal grande volume, ma riunendo molti piccoli volumi e collegandoli tramite piccoli spazi insieme, in questo modo è possibile disporre di aree verdi intorno a tutta la casa, dentro e fuori, incorporando l’area esterna nell’edificio e creando spazi ricchi, ampi e giocosi anche con minimo spazio.
Ciò che rende però lo spazio speciale, è l’anima ludica con cui è stato pensato. Un enorme rete bianca prende lo spazio del soffitto, diventando gioco e intrattenimento per i figli della proprietà. Dal salotto si possono vedere i bambini giocare in uno spazio che è sinonimo di armonia e benessere per tutti.

When the Architect’s mission is to make a home “fun”, creative and unique projects are born that make the most serious adults smile as well.
This is the case for the Yamashina House project in Kyoto, Japan. It is a reconstruction project for a residential area lined with houses of ancient times. The project is located in a low-lying area of about 100 square meters and on narrow terrain with restrictions and limitations established by the Landscape Act. In such circumstances, the architecture studio has managed to develop a home with a sense of remarkable space, while ensuring the number of rooms required.
There are three boxes of different volumes, from which the spaces are later created, as produced by their own corners. Space has been “greened” to make possible a sense of outside from any room; this has been possible by eliminating the idea of a single building from the large volume, but bringing together many small volumes and linking them through small spaces together This way you can have green areas around the house, inside and out, incorporating the exterior area into the building and creating rich, spacious, playful spaces with even minimal space.
What makes special this space, however, is the playful soul with which it was thought. A huge white net takes up the ceiling space, becoming play and entertainment for the children of the property. From the living room you can see the children play in a space that is synonymous with harmony and well-being for everyone.
